Where can I see my transaction history?

Select the token of choice in your Home screen and scroll to the bottom of the page. The History section displays your transaction history.

Where can I change the preferred currency for displaying my tokens from USD?

Tap the Settings icon ☰ at the top-left corner > Select Preferences. Here, you will have the option to switch to BTC as default currency.

How do I update my Steakwallet app?


  1. Navigate to Steakwallet app on the Apple App Store.
  1. Tap Update on the top-right corner of your screen.

We recommend setting up automatic updates so you never don’t have to manually make the updates or miss any. To do so on your iPhone:

  1. Open Settings.
  1. Select App Store.
  1. Under Automatic Downloads, turn on the toggle switches next to Apps and App Updates.


  1. Navigate to the Google Play Store.
  1. Tap your profile icon at the top-right.
  1. Tap Manage Apps and Device. If there is an update available for Steakwallet, you will see Update Available.
  1. Tap Update.

  1. Open your Google Play Store app.
  1. Tap the profile icon at the top-right corner.
  1. Tap Settings > Network Preferences > Auto-update apps.
  1. Select Over any network.
Can I use my hardware wallet with Steakwallet?

Steakwallet does not offer hardware wallet support at the moment, but this is on our roadmap and something we hope to offer you soon!

Can I still use my Steakwallet, if my selfie camera gets broken?

If you had Face ID on and the camera isn’t working anymore, you will need to switch off Face ID for Steakwallet on the settings app of your iPhone or Android device.


Tap Settings > Scroll all the way down to find the Steakwallet app > Toggle off the switch for Face ID.


Tap Settings > Lock screen and security > Face Recognition > Screen Lock Type. Toggle off all the options under the Biometrics section.

Different android devices have a different settings flow. If the instructions above do not work for your device, please google online for your specific model.

If my phone breaks, can I still log into my wallet on another phone?

You definitely can! If you need to log in from a new device, simply re-download Steakwallet to the new device and import your existing Secret Phrase. You will be all set up in seconds 🤝

Am I Geo-Restricted from buying crypto with fiat within my Steakwallet?

Steakwallet is working on making purchasing crypto as accessible as possible for all. At the moment, our fiat on-ramp is provided by Ramp Network, which provides the broadest coverage. Currently, Ramp Network supports more than 170 countries and territories. Check here for the list of supported locations.

Can I bridge my tokens to another L1/L2 within my Steakwallet?

At the moment, you cannot bridge token natively within the wallet. Instead, you can utilize bridging services like Allbridge and Hop Protocol to bridge your tokens to a different network.
